Photopress 1.0.1

Watermarking is back, but as a plugin now! I’m pretty surprised it works, and I think it’s going to be a great way to add features without cluttering up the options and whatnot . If you’re interested in writing your own sub-plugin, take a look at watermark.php.

I think I fixed the query_posts error.

There’s now an option to replace the built-in upload tool with the Photopress upload/browse tool. I don’t love how it works, but it does seem to work.

Download it: photopress.tar.gz or photopress.zip

Update: To clarify about compatibility, I’m currently using this version with WP 2.1.2. It probably works with 2.1, but I wouldn’t expect it to work with anything earlier than that.

    hi!
is ist possible to use photopress 1.0.1 for wordpress 2.1 and higher?
i ask this, because i’m a little confused about he title of the post “Photopress 0.9.7 (WP 2.1+ only)”
i tested 1.0.1 on wordpress 2.1.2 and it seemed to be allright, but the permalink to the album does not work anymore.
maybe you could tell me if 1.0.1 is supposed to work with wordpress 2.0.2, or not.

    regards, Johannes

It may be worth saying that this great plugin works perfectly with wp 2.1.2 and PHP 4.4.2
It may not work with PHP 5.2.1 (at least it did not in my case).

    Hi there.
What a sweet plugin you have! I really love it.
Found a strange thing in 1.0.1 on WP 2.1.2.
Of some strange reason the feature ‘Show posts with image in album’ is misbehaving. In the album it links to a post where the image is not used at all.

    Any ideas on why?
send me a mail and I’ll with supply you with links and data.

    regards
    Petter

    Hi!
I love your plugin, but a feature i’m missing is the ability to comment photos. I’ve tried several hacks but it doesn’t seem to work at all.

Do you have any solution for this or do I have to wait until the feature(hopefully) is released?

    /daniel

    Howdy!

I have a quick question. I’d like to know if it’s possible to only set the maximum dimension ONLY for the width where it will adjust only the height as necessary? Is this something that I can change in the code? Or is it something you could add - maybe a maximum height AND width option in the settings?

    TIA!

Hey, great great plugin. I’ll skip my wish-list for it and get to the nitty-gritty. I don’t know if this is a bug, but in the mass edit view, if I sort “A-Z by cat” I get this error:

WordPress database error: [Unknown column 'imgcat' in 'order clause']
SELECT * FROM wp_photopress LEFT JOIN wp_pp_cats ON (wp_photopress.catslug=wp_pp_cats.catslug) ORDER BY imgcat LIMIT 0,20

I looked at the database and its right, there is no column names “imgcat”.

    What’s the dizzle?
