Photopress 0.9.5
This is just a quick bugfix release, which should solve some of the major problems with the previous one.
- Fixed a couple of SQL problems noted by a few people, namely the LEFT JOIN thing but also a weird thing where the default ORDER BY was missing.
- Fixed a Javascript problem that was keeping the insert buttons on the Browse popup from working. Basically, I’d forgotten to update the Browse JavaScript when I updated the Upload part.
Download Photopress 0.9.5: photopress.zip OR photopress.tar.gz.
April 26th, 2006 at 9:12 am
Isaac, I open the zip & tar files, and inside still appears this “Version: 0.9.4″
An when I upgrade from 0.8.4, my categories dissapear. All are set on “default”.
April 26th, 2006 at 8:14 pm
Hi,
So far, everything with photopress is working super-cool. But for some reason when i’m trying to edit photos (ie: description, etc.) in the Album manager it always winds up setting the category to “Default” - which wouldn’t be a huge problem, but I can’t seem to change it back afterwards, and just get a message saying that “Photopress album data update failed for some reason.”
The only way to reset them is to delete and re-upload, which is a pain the the butt.
Any suggestions?
-T.
April 28th, 2006 at 5:19 pm
Is there a way to exclude one category from the random feature?
April 28th, 2006 at 6:55 pm
I see that too…
Firstly, Isaac, I’m a WP noob, but thisd plugin makes a difficult job easy, thanks
Mine is a new install, I think it’s 0.94, but now I’m not sure
WP 2.0.2
Anyway, I have the maximum image size set to 550 pixels, and if I try and upload an image smaller than that, I get an (unspecified) error on upload. Images 550 or larger work fine.
The browser does not work (no images, even though I have uploaded 17 of them)
Lastly, the image category management is too obtuse for me. What on earth is a slug? The Edit Categories under Manager -> Photopress is counter-intuitive. I am presented with a couple of text fields already filled in with category details to update. Am I creating a new category or altering the existing one? How about a ‘new category’ button?
Maybe if I upload the 0.95 it will fix some of these problems?

Just an update.
I had a close look at 0.95 and 0.94 with diff, and coould see the differences, even though 0.95 advertises itself as 0.94. Not to worry, I loaded it up anyway, de-activating 0.94, loading 0.95, re-activating photopress, and re-examining the options.
Uploading of images greater than 550 pixels now works.
The browser is working.
Category management is unchanged (oh well, 2 out of 3 aint bad

Very nice plug-in!!!, but I think I found a bug when the photopress works together with widgets. If photopress plugin is active I can not edit the widget properties, the windows that open when you click in the edit icon on a sidebar widget appear but looks like disabled and none of the fields can be edited. I’m using the Regulus Theme 2.1.3 but the same problem happen with 2.1.1. For now what I do is Edit my sidebar with photopres disabled, when finish enable photopress again. Thanks for this great plugin and if you have time take a look at the “bug”, (i’m not sure is your fault)
April 30th, 2006 at 7:42 pm
Make that uploading of images smaller than 550 works without error. (bigger works too, and are resized accordingly)
Regards and thanks,
Mike

Hi,
Despite problems with the non-appearance of the failsafe ‘PhotoPress’ button in a French language WordPress 2.0, with the Connexions theme and using MacOS X Safari, I still believe your plugin is more convenient than the WordPress built-in image uploader.
Can the button problem be dependant on the WordPress language because your plugin 0.9.4 (is it really 0.95??) DOES work with the same Connexions theme in an English WordPress 2.0.
Looking forward to it working better.
Regards
Martin

Hi Isaac,
I really like PhotoPress. Easy and clean. I struggle with one thing: When I update information on a picture in one of the categories, the picture is moved to the Default category? I try to move it back by changing the Category, but it seems to be stuck in Default.
Any good ideas?

Frode

Hello, just a quick comment, Photopress 0.9.5 is not validating XHTML, as you can see here.
On a side note, I noticed that you changed the behavior for the album links if the option Link to album is set on No. I’m working on a little hardcoded hack for this (revert the function to 0.9.2) but I suggest adding an option to let the user select the behavior.
Keep on working on this hack, it’s close to perfection
May 11th, 2006 at 12:37 pm
The version ID is still 0.9.4 on the file I downloaded here.
May 11th, 2006 at 12:48 pm
I don’t understand the use of the catrep field of the categories table. The only use I found was in the function pp_highlight where the field is appended to build a file name. As far as I can see there is a bug in that function as $slug[’catrep’] is used while it should be $sluginfo[’catrep’]. Anyway, the test will always fail and the only option of that ‘if’ is the one that will always get executed, there is no else option anyway. catrep is also mantained, initialized and updated, if any other part of the application cared for it, which it doesn’t.
Could you clarify? Thanks
May 12th, 2006 at 7:32 am
The manage Photopress system is completely bugged: I can’t create categories, can’t move individually an image from one category to other, if I do that, everything defaults to the first selected category, when I want to change the category from the image “editor” the manager tells me that it can’t be done.
May 12th, 2006 at 10:28 pm
i am having problems with the admin. Can’t change any images to other categories. Looks like others are having the same problem. Any updates coming soon?
May 14th, 2006 at 8:20 am

Yeah … this version has messed up my site as well … I was having some problems with the old version but this is crazy … 340+ photos out of categories plus numerous links are now bad.
I hope this can be fixed with an easy update!

I reverted back to 0.9 and it seems to work. I am still having the uploading problems that I had before I tried to update … but at least the site is not ka-put.
I hope that this is fixed soon!
May 19th, 2006 at 9:34 pm

May 21st, 2006 at 11:33 am
hi!
first of all thanks for the plugin!
my problem is, that i cannot configure alle widgets if the photopress-plugin is activated. the popup-window is not clickable. deactivating the plugin, all works fine.

perhaps you can fix it.

Hello, I’m using Photopress 0.9.4. I have a problem with the handling of big images. If I post one of them into my posts (please have a look at the website) and click on them Firefox opens a new window with the image inside, but there are no scrollbars and the image is cropped. Can anyone tell me how to fix it?

Updates to version 0.9.2 and an still having the same uploading problems … when I try to upload any photo, it give me this error:
Error uploading 20060512_08.jpg. The file is not one of the allowed types (jpg jpeg png gif). Check the file and try again.
I need to upload somewhere in the neighborhood of about 150 photos (with the total growing fast) for my family back home to see. So, I hope that this is all fixed soon!
Cheers!
May 30th, 2006 at 3:30 am
hm, weird. it works for me
try uploading the images (10 orso as a test) with a ftp client to the gallery folder. then go to the photopress maintance page and use the “fix database” button or whatever its called to add them to the database. it MIGHT work…
June 4th, 2006 at 6:26 pm
So I installed the latest version of your photopress plugin on wordpress 2.02 and all seems to be in order. I can upload photos to the album and the metadata sends a random images to my sidebar. However I do not know where I should go to use the utility that allows me to attach photos to my posts. I no longer have the upload under post writing section. Help.
June 6th, 2006 at 4:50 pm
Here are some potential fixes for some Photopress 0.9.5 issues. Try them first on a backup copy of your blog!
Replace the line
<td><p><select name="row' . $i . '[oldimgcat]">' . pp_cat_dropdown($pp_cats,$image_data['imgcat']) . '</select><p/><p>' . __('Slug:','photopress') . '</p></td>with the following
<td><p><select name="row' . $i . '[oldimgcat]">' . pp_cat_dropdown($pp_cats,$image_data['category']) . '</select></p><p>' . __('Slug:','photopress') . '</p></td>to prevent the switch to the “Default” category in Mass Edit.
Replace the line
<option value="imgfile"'; if ($catsort == 'imgfile') { echo ' selected="selected"'; } echo '>' . __('A-Z by file name','photopress') . '</option>with the following
<option value="imgfile"'; if ($slug['catsort'] == 'imgfile') { echo ' selected="selected"'; } echo '>' . __('A-Z by file name','photopress') . '</option>(i.e. match the other lines) to keep the sort setting “A-Z by file name”.
Replace the line
<td><input type="text" value="' . stripslashes($slug['category']) . '" name="row' . $i . '[newcat]" /></td>with the following
<td><input type="text" name="row' . $i . '[newcat]" /></td>If you use the original line you can’t change the category in “Edit Categories” without deleting the category name in the “Enter New” field first. “Enter New” should contain nothing by default because the user has to enter a _new_ category name, not the system.
There is also a bug which changes the category to default when you just want to change e.g. the description of an image in the “single image view” of the Album Management:
Replace
$pp_updated_array = array('imgfile'=>$_POST['imgfile'],'imgname'=>$_POST['imgname'],'imgdesc'=>$_POST['imgdesc'],$_POST['catslug']);with the following
$pp_updated_array = array('imgfile'=>$_POST['imgfile'],'imgname'=>$_POST['imgname'],'imgdesc'=>$_POST['imgdesc'],'catslug'=>$_POST['catslug']);to preserve the catslug (i.e. the Category).
Furthermore I had to remove all calls to htmlentities2() to make German “Umlaute” (äöüÄÖÜ) in image names to appear correctly.
June 7th, 2006 at 4:22 pm
I would like to get a random image instead of a random thumbnail when calling pp_random_image_bare(), is that possible?
June 9th, 2006 at 7:02 am
Excellent plugin. But I’m having problems with categories as well.
They seem to mess up all the time, categories disappearing, images being put all in one category etc.
Is someone looking into this?
June 9th, 2006 at 2:05 pm
Shrikee, thanks for the post … I am doing just that (making thumbs with photoshop to boot) but now I am having another interesting problem with filenames with more than one _ in them.
Anyone else having this problem?
Cheers!

Love the progam…just having difficulties with getting it to cooperate.
1: I would love to have a delete catagories button like the wordpress catagories. I’m now up to 13 catagories and only need 5.
2: having troubles getting catagories to show at all in the main catagory View.
3: when adjusting images to correct catagories they will often appear in other catagories on thier own.
4: i had a crazy bug where images started copying themselves and there would be 3 versions of each image in the Mass Editor.
5: I would love to have an option for setting the thumbnail size. 100×100 is way too big for me and I looked for it in the php code and couldnt find where to change it anywhere.
Thanks for your time and effort.
June 22nd, 2006 at 11:08 am
Oh and a mass upload option would be cool…just pick your folder or Highlight all the images you want and it uploads them. a select catagory button for this too.
June 27th, 2006 at 5:45 am
Issac, fantastic plugin - worked right out of the box (although assigning categories was a bit buggy). Nevertheless, a great addtion to my site. Many thanks. One question - is it possible to structure albums in a way that allows for sub-albums (e.g. parent is “Places” and sub-album is “London” or “New York”, etc.)?
Thanks Again

Anyone know how to edit the popup.php so that when you add html to the post, it will put the description of the photo in after the photo?
Thanks!!!
July 13th, 2006 at 3:39 pm
Also, how can I add another button to open photopress in the “Browse” tab, rather than the “upload” tab.
Final question: how can I make it so that the popup doesn’t close when I click the “insert” button. This is helpful for when I want to insert many photos into my posts, and I don’t want to keep opening the popup for each photo.
THANKS!

Is photopress dead?
July 16th, 2006 at 8:36 am
hello, i installed photopress TWICE ALREADY and the album page still doesn’t work. ?pp_album=main works, but I cannot try and access 1-punctuality.com/haute/gallery/ (I have defined gallery as the album token in Options:Photopress and I have also enabled permaliks in the same page). Why is 1-p.com/haute/gallery still not working, then?

Hi - i have the same problem as Gabe:
“but I think I found a bug when the photopress works together with widgets. If photopress plugin is active I can not edit the widget properties, the windows that open when you click in the edit icon on a sidebar widget appear but looks like disabled and none of the fields can be edited.”
Because i really the plugin i wonder if you (Isaac) are still working on that plugin or not? Maybe you have a paypal-button to enable on your site so that we might motivate you a bit?
Please go on with the good work! It’s so much more comfortable than the WP Default Image-Handling (which is horroble i would say)
And i have searched for other solutions - but yours seems to be the best: simple, easy, all you need.
Please contact me if you are still developing this plugin - thanks a lot
July 25th, 2006 at 4:56 pm
hi, i just wanted to let the photopress community know that i found a small bug that i think i fixed.
in the “Mass Edit” feature, the category pulldown for every image was not getting set to default to its currently set category, instead defaulting to the first category.
i found a small error where the category name is supposed to be passed to the function that generates the pulldown. on line 1242 of photopress.php change pp_cat_dropdown($pp_cats,$image_data[’imgcat’]) to pp_cat_dropdown($pp_cats,$image_data[’category’])
that fixed it for me.

Hello,
I first had some issues with the permalinks not being updated directly but after I reconfigured my permalinks.
Great plugin, had a look at a lot of image gallery plug ins but this one certainly is the best.
July 31st, 2006 at 8:28 pm
Photopress works perfect for me… right up to the insert photo part. Though the version still says 0.9.4 (while the link says 0.9.5)
I’m using wordpress 2.0.2 & 2.0.3 with the EditorMonkey TinyMCE Plugin. I’ve tried foxfire & ie 6.
Any thoughts? It’s so close I can taste it…

Hi, having a strange problem.
When you are writing a post in WP the button photos (or is it photo) should show up on the rightand side, somehow in Safari 2.0 the button don’t show. I we checked in IE on Windows and it is there, so why not in Safari?
Someone have any idea?

Hi, I’m having a problem:
I updated the categories, but now I have two “default” categories, and I can’t get rid of them. How can I completely delete them? I have no pictures in there, but I’m kind of worried that in the future this could give me a problem.
Thanks
August 8th, 2006 at 7:27 pm
Oh, and I also have the problem that Brad said (about four posts above this one)
August 8th, 2006 at 7:35 pm
in case anyone wants to edit the code that Daniel Gattermann said, here are the number lines to modify in photopress.php:
1242
1351
1342
917
(use a program that shows lines number, for example Crimson Editor - freeware)
August 9th, 2006 at 9:31 am
I am using 2.0.4 and just installed photopress. I works great but it is showing some bugs. Should I report here?
- Sort by category error
- Categories revert to default on edit
Is there any sort of organized effort to move this project forward?
- create directories for uploads
- button to insert all uploaded images
- keep focus on insert window
August 11th, 2006 at 11:14 am
Wish List
1. A way to easily delete categories and add sub categories
2. A way to list categories as text only links (like in the sidebar under Photos or something)
3. A way to easily integrate the Album (Photos) link into the Pages links.
In spite of my complaining, this plug-in is great. I’ve been searching for something like this and nothing else has even come close to all the stuff this one does - so thank you and great job.
I haven’t experience the above bugs that the 0.9.5 release fixes, so I’ll wait for now…
This is what my system looks like:
WordPress 2.0.4
PhotoPress 0.9.4 (I’ll wait to install the latest version…)
Apache/2.0.46 (Red Hat)
PHP 4.4.1 (Zend: 1.3.0)
MySQL 3.23.58
thanks - j

also - is there a forum for this plug-in?

I saw another comment about this. Seems there used to be a way to adjust the number of columns? I’d like to be able to do that again. What happened to that option?
August 19th, 2006 at 2:34 pm
There appears to be a bug within the image manager. When you update an image, it puts it in the default category. No matter what category you select.
August 20th, 2006 at 7:06 pm
Hello,
i just fixed some bugs in photopress 0.9.5. The ones mentioned by Daniel Gattermann and other bugs related to category changes. If you enter a new category then the actual category is not renamed but a new one is created. As I see there’s no possibility to delete a catagory yet.
I also changed mass-editor a bit. If you have thumbs in mass editor mass editor look a bit different than otherwise.
You may give my 0.9.5a a try, it may help.
Thanks for this great piece of software Isaac!

I’m trying to fix this myself, but I’m having problems following the code. I’m kind of a self taught “programmer” and I’m still learning. I would like to have my thumbnails not default to a 100px x 100px in my sidebar… I would rather have them scale down based on a percentage. Any ideas on how to do this?
Thanks in advance.
August 21st, 2006 at 10:59 pm
Is there a forum for this plugin?
August 23rd, 2006 at 9:45 pm
This is a fantastic plug in, and I’ve enjoyed working with it so far. I’d like to make a request though… Could you add a commenting feature to the photographs. I think that would make this plugin perfect.
August 25th, 2006 at 12:08 pm
Nice work! I guess it is the best gallery plugin for wordpress. Due to, here some bugs:
- cannot edit images, the plugin set the category always back to default
- category sort oder for public is missing
here my wish list:
- random thumbnails for sidebar can have different size
- image title for the My Blog eg… is missing
- image description for “get_the_excerpt” is missing
- missing url-friendly permalinks
Also, next time you will have the ultimate photo gallery for wordpress, i stay update!

Awesome plug-in. Thanks. I, too, had the categories bug, but the fix suggested by Brad (comment left on July 26, 2006) allows me to use the mass edit mode without screwing up the categories. It still reverts to default in the single image editor, but can be easily changed back in mass edit mode. A minor bug easily fixed. Awesome work!

Long time no posts here, pardon, to much work. I’m on css reboot now, so, I have installed the last version of photopress. As always, PERFECT. Here are my new requests which might be useful:
- Optionally: Link from album thumbnail to the post which use the image (to the first post).
- Optionally: Do not link image inserted in the post. (useful when large image inserted).
- Optionally: Do not resize originals when they are same or smaller size as set in options, to avoid jpeg recompression.
- Steel use own hacks to display last (new) images on sidebar.
Thnak you for your work!
September 7th, 2006 at 6:19 pm
How do I set up an album like the one on this site? I only see options to add the photos to a post. What I have played with so far is very well constructed. Nice work.
Thanks.

Thanks for the fix on the ‘defaulting to Default’ issue - I’ll give it a go shortly. Here’s another one for you…
If the description of a photo contains an apostrophe, it breaks the JavaScript. The image won’t load in a separate window.
Another thing you might want to look at is that, if an album is hidden but an image from that album is embedded in a blog entry, then you can still click on the image, which means you can go back and look at all the images in that album, even though it’s supposedly hidden.
September 23rd, 2006 at 12:19 pm
I love this plugin! I don’t seem to have an album, though, and I don’t know where to begin to fix it. Any chance you could have a look (www.crazykitties.com) and tell me what I’m missing? Thanks for all your work!
October 4th, 2006 at 5:08 pm
Is there a way to put a thumbnail photo album in one of the pages of my site? I have created a photo album page and would love to be able to add some code to display a whole category.
BTW if this is in the instructions, I didn’t see it or just didn’t get it.
I tried linking to the pp_album.php but it didn’t work. Sorry I’m not a programmer so if code needs changed i’m in trouble.
Thanks.

Does Photopress has difficulties with Nikon jpg files?
Here is a file I have taken with a Nikon coolpix 4600
http://www.barriere.info/photos/DSCN0170.JPG
here is a the same file resized by photopress plugin.
http://www.marcbarriere.com/wp-content/photos/DSCN0170.jpg
Photopress doesn’t do that with files from other cameras.

First of all: Thanks Isaac for your great work, this plugin really ROCKS !
;o)
Also many thanks also Daniel Gattermann his Bugfix-Info posted earlier here.

I love the plug in but I cant figure something out
Admittedly I am a novice at anything code related, but I just cant figure out how to make the photo album open up with my same theme. Every time I try I get a blank white unformatted page.
I read this:
“Broken album layout: edit pp_album.php and pp_album_css.php, in the photopress folder, to match your theme (look at your theme’s index.php for inspiration). You can save the files in your theme’s folder to avoid overwriting when upgrading (PP looks there first, then reverts to the default).”
but I just dont understand it…
can anyone look at my sire and help?

Isac, please contact me about my last questions I have send to you via e-mail

Dear Isaac!
I experience that your plugin affects the widgets page in admin. It results in the pop-up widget control panels are unaccessible because the transparent overlay suddenly covers the control-panel itself. When de-activating your plugin, the widget-page works fine again. Otherwise it works well.

Hey there, first time posting for this place. I absolutely love photopress and think it is a great plugin for wordpress. The first time I tried it after I installed it a couple days ago, the random images worked great, however I am having a difficult time trying to integrate the album into my layout. I followed the tip from the instructions to make pp_album look pretty much like my index, but it still isn’t working very well. Perhaps there is something I’m doing wrong or leaving out?
my website is http://www.legendaryillusions.com I’d appreciate any ideas on how to get photopress to work.

I get a weird error message when I try to upload a new picture:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 550 bytes) in /home/virtual/site386/fst/var/www/html/modifoo.com/blog/wp-content/plugins/photopress/include.php on line 707
The actual image gets uploaded fine into the directory, but I cannot access it from photopress.
I tried upgrading to the new 0.9.5, and I also upgraded WP, but neither one helps.
Line 707 in include.php reads:
$resized = imagecreatetruecolor($image_new_width, $image_new_height);
Any help would be greatly apprechiated. Thanks for a great plugin.

OK, I found a fix for the problem. One has to set the maximum allowed size for a full photo to at least the same size as the photo one wants to upload.
Seems like the problem is with the resizing.

Great plugin! I’m building a WP site for a friend and have one issue I just can’t figure out… and I’ve tried looking all over the PHP to figure it out.
Using the permalink system, when clicking on an image in a post or on a page, there are two /’s after the tag I set in the Photopress options.
ie: http://blairvanhaus.com/album//IMG_2892.jpg
Plus in the META sidebar, the link to the Photos page is correct, as is the random image. But when you go to the Photos page, the image URL is incorrect again, and has two //’s.
Any ideas?
Many thanks in advance!

Isaac, in the line , can i put something in between the () to specify the display of a specific category? I have tried a couple of things and think maybe i just don’t know the syntax. If this works, i will be able to show specific albums on different pages by using the ezstatic plugin. Please let me know if this is possible!!! Thanks,
Rob

I tried uploading pictures and then using “import pictures” button. Photopress informs me that photos have been uploaded correctly but the photos can’t be found anywhere (inside wordpress that is) - they do still reside in the same directory.

When using Photopress, I have two problems.
1. I can’t seem to create any new categories.
2. When I click on a picture and go to the gallery, I see the one picture, but if I click next I see a random image.
How do I fix this?

Ok, at first, I just thought permalinks weren’t working. But now, I can’t view the gallery at all. The links are pointing to ?pp_album=main, but it just goes to the page cannot be found. Even when I click on the random thumbnail image. I’ve turned off permalinks, but still no good! Anyone else having this problem?

Thanks for writing the plugin. It’s no PicasaWeb Album, but hey, it’s still a spiffy plugin to integrate a gallery in WP. Btw, I tried to validate the XHTML that was generated by th eplugin and it had 5 errors. Hence, it wasn’t validated. I edited the code and have it validated with no errors now. Again, thanks for this plugin.

Hey I was wondering if there was anyway to asign a class to the image you are linking to from the thumbnail, instead of the thumb itself, automatically.

Nevermind I got it. Was in the popup.php instead. Easy enough.

Hi, I have this plugin running on one of my blogs and it’s just great and working fine on a 2.0.5 WP version. I have made a french fr_FR.po and .mo so I would like the author to contact me so we could share my translation. I have not tested it thouroughly so changes to my strings may be needed.

HI,
Just installed the plugin, and it fits like a glove - nice work!
One question, before I try to ammend the code, is there an easy way to group uploaded photos by user - so that each is in control of their own name-space, so to speak?
The obvious way, if I may say so, is to upload the file into a sub-folder of the photo repository using the userid as folder name.
All suggestions welcome,
Adrian

Hi Isaac,
I have a patch that instead of using a popup window to display images uses a JavaScript animation (http://www.huddletogether.com/projects/lightbox2/). You can see an example on my website.
I am keen to get this merged into the “official” tree as it adds little overhead if it’s switched off. Please let me know how to send you the patch.
Everyone else: let me know if you’d like me to send you the patch or put it on my website for you to download.
Cheers,
–> Stephen

When I select Mass Edit, all categories are reset and go back to default…???
January 1st, 2007 at 7:43 pm
Hello,
I love the Photopress plugin and have used it in a couple of sites already. I am currently designing a website for my family, and I was wondering if there was a way to change the random image into the most recently posted image… or the most recently posted image in a specific category? I would appreciate any help here. Thanks again for the great plugin.

I had a problem uploading any files, on http://www.careyfamily.co.uk. They were associated with line 358 of the popup.php file. Presumably php had been installed on the server without exif functions, so the program dropped through to getimagesize. But that then generated a warning and failed because the file at that stage was in a temporary directory not in the filespace that I had any control over.
For now, I’ve commented out the “if function_exists” that included these function calls, and also the reference to $image_type at the start of the next “if”. This got the thing working, but removes some of the file verification. This can presumably be restored by putting the commented-out “if” after the move_uploaded_file. The file suffix is still being checked, anyway, so some checks are happening.

No idea if someone is still maintaining this great plugin but I guess I still have to post this.
Been using PhotoPress for some time now. However, widgets become uneditable if PhotoPress is activated. Tried and tested it for a while. This only happens when using FF. In IE, I can still edit the widgets, but the layout of the sidebar widgets page is all screwed up. When I turn off PhotoPress, the layout of the sidebar widgets page is reverted back to normal.
I’m suspecting this has something to do with the “effects” script in the scriptaculous folder of widgets. No idea how to prove it though, since I don’t know anything about the code used in the said folder.
Anyway, hope someone has tried and succeeded making PhotoPress play nicely with the widgets page.
