Photopress 0.7
There’s a lot still wrong with this version, but I think it’s working well enough for testing now. The major change in this version is that Photopress now installs a table in the database. Information entered in the uploader form actually gets saved now.
For a new install, just extract the archive in your WP root folder, make the wp-content/photos folder writable, and activate the plugin. Upload at least two images to make the errors go away (I promise I’ll fix this soon!).
For an upgrade, just make sure you de-activate then re-activate the plugin. That should install the table and import your data.
Download the new version: photopress.zip OR photopress.tar.gz
Try an older version if this one doesn’t work for you: photopress-0.5.1.zip OR photopress-0.5.1.tar.gz
You can find older Photopress code and view code changes between versions at wp-plugins.org.

Hi!
Photopress is a really great tool, thank you for that.
But is there any changelog to show the differences between 0.7 and 0.5.1?
Because i did some very little hacking (that i have got three picture Versions - thumb, resized and original) and edited it so that it fits to my theme. And now i am wondering if i should update.

There seems to be an issue with the paths somewhere.
My settings are as such:
Wordpress adress = http://www.x111.com/wp
Blog address = http://www.x111.com
File upload destination directory = /home/me/public_html/wp/wp-content
URI of that directory = http://www.x111.com/wp/wp-content
The error I get is that ‘/home/me/public_html/wp-content/photos’ is not writeable, which makes sense seeing as that path is incorrect and should be ‘/home/me/public_html/wp/wp-content/photos’
I assume it goes wonky somewhere around line 131-137 in photopress-inc.php but I figured I’d ask here first. I’m using 0.7 btw but I had the same thing with the previous version from your weblog.

I’m having a small problem with Photopress 0.7. On the wp-admin menus, I get the following:

When I deactivate the plugin, these messages go away. Anyone know how to fix this?
