Neither version would work with my WP2.1 . The problem seems to be in the use of the old user_levels. Even when I'm logged in as Administrator Photopress gives the message "Ask the administrator to promote you." and won't allow me to upload images. Anyone else have this problem or know how I can fix it? I hope Photopress can upgrade to using roles instead of user_levels soon! I tried installing Photopress 0.9.6 and then also tried with 0.9.7. One big problem is its conflict with widgets. This wouldn't be that problematic, except there is interference with the RSS widget. Any ideas? I had problems displaying the quicktag after a 2.0.7 > 2.1 upgrade, but omitted to rebuild the permalink structure. I'll try when I get to my test site and let you know.
